A bedtime story part 2

Emily and Mike slept for the rest of the night, but the memory of what had happened in their dreams seemed too real to be a part of their imagination. They didn´t say anything to their parents because they didn´t want to scare them, and besides, they would be at the beach for the rest of the day, so they could  have time to talk about what had happened.
They were one big happy family once again, so they had no problem to talk about the strange woman with wings. Emily believes she was no fairy, and Mike didn´t think she was a witch, either. Something was not right, and they had the rest of the day to figure it out. They went over every bedtime story they´ve heard to figure out what this mystery woman was.
They enjoyed the rest of the day as they could find no clue to what they were facing, so they hoped that they would find it in their sleep.
Back in their beds, they pretended to sleep while their mother sang to them. The song talked about an evil woman that lived in the woods, that liked to get fairy wings to obtain power, to stop her was madness, but if they asked to the well-keeper they might find and answer. Although they tried to listen to the whole song, their eyes closed and soon fell asleep.
This time, Emily and Mike woke up as theirselves.  The woman was waiting for them and told them that if they wouldn´t do what they asked, they would lose all they have in their lives. The kids went down the path that led to the woods, searching for butterflies while looking for a well.
A bunch of dark cloud started to cover the sky, and the rain fell hardly on their bodies. They ran for shelter and a dirty little path that led to a small pond by the waterfalls. They´ve only been there a couple of times before, but they remembered a small cave where they could stay until the rain stopped. It shouldn´t take long and the woman would not be able to see them until the sun came up again.
Mike led the way but as they were approaching the waterfalls, they heard a soft voice singing somewhere close to the water. Emily ran to find the voice and saw a fair maiden next to a couple of rocks where water came up every couple of seconds. She approached her and told her about the wicked woman, and the maiden threw herself in to the rocks and came back a couple of minutes after. She had a rare flower with her with leaves that looked like wings. She gave it to Emily and she was gone before Mike reached her sister.
They reached the cave and waited for the rain to stop. The woman shouted at them and Emily gave her the flower, and she thanked them and put them on. She was swept through the air and she was never seen again.
Then they fell asleep and they were not disturbed again by these nightmares. Soon they were back dreaming about ponies and fairies and rainbows and lands were dreams came true.
