Seven Pounds

I finally got to watch this movie yesterday. I have to say that at first it was hard to grasp what it was really about because it didn´t tell me much a start with a phone call to 911. Then, things got interesting as the movie  continued. It really impressed me Will Smith´s performance because it was a very complicated character with quite a history behind it. And yes, I have to confess that it took me a while to figure out what he was doing and it was quite a roller coaster. It was chilling, emotional, loving, hating, and surprising production and  I have to say that I wasn´t really excited to see the bathroom scene, every muscle of me twinged at the simple idea of that water being and how real it felt each painful stroke. Well, of course, then everything made sense but was quite thrilled that the ending was not exactly what I expected (and confirmed that it was the last part of the movie that I happened to see over last weekend).
Worth looking at because it teaches you a lot about humanity through the eyes of Ben Thomas and how we relate to other people, whether we are mad, passionate, creative, fooling someone and taking responsibility through your actions, and making sure that what you benefits others. I think that was the underlying issue of it all was that idea, the notion that we can affect other people´s life in moments of anger, love, disgust, finding out you´ve been cheated.
And that´s it for today, I guess.
